I have finally managed to start pulling together resources for this page!  I gave the students an assignment asking them to write a short paragraph answering the question, "Who am I".  Here are a few of the results, I will add more as I receive them.  I will type these in context for the most part, the students are not native English speakers, so do not begrudge them their grammar.

Ketia St. Jacques

I am Ketia.  I am a girl who like to play and have fun, and I am seventeen years old.  My mother's name is Clairinette, she likes to sew.  My father's name is Estime.  My mother is alive, my father is died.  Sometimes I think about my father because I miss him so much.  I was born in Liancou where we have a lot of rice and lots of fruit to eat.  Now I live in Canaan.  My school name is Christians School and I like my supervisors, I like the way they are.  When I grow up I will like to be a nurse and a doctor, and I like to be a Christians girl.

Cenofa Semeies

I am a boy my name is Cenofa Semeies.  I am sixteen year old and I want to be a piolot.  Thats my dream in the future.  I love Canaan very much.  I like to play gameboy and video game too.  I like my school and my teachers and my friend.  I can do all things through Christ.  Love alway in the name of the Lord our God.

Erve Joseph

Hello, my name is Erve Joseph.  I'm short, and seventeen years old.  My nationality is Haitian and I'm happy about that. I want to be a doctor in the future.  I would like to specialize in surgery.  I'm trusting God to make that happen in my life.  I want to be a doctor so I can help others because I was born with club feet and they had done surgery to me for free.  This operation cost a lot of money but the people that I'm living with and my parents didn't have that kind of money so they did the operation to me  for free.  I can see that this was God's calling to me to be a doctor and help others who are in needs.  For fun I like to read a lot of books.  I play basketball even though I'm not good at it.  I like to go swimming.  I live in Canaan Community in Montrouis Haiti.  I go to an English school.  I have a sister and three brothers. I love God a lot, I would to live my life the way he wants me to, pray for me so I can do so.  Erve.

I'm Jean Wesly.  I am sixteen years old.  I am a boy who loves God a lot.  I'm in school, and I would like to be an electrical engineer.  I love playing soccer a lot.

Stephenson Jeanty

My name is Stephenson.  I am fifteen years old and I live in Canaan.  I am going to Canaan Christian School and am in the fifth grade.  My favorite sport is soccer and my favorite subject in school is Word Building or English.  This is how I can describe myself unto you.

Renette St. Jacques

I am Renette, I have 15 years old.  My mother's lives and my fathers died.  I like school very much.  I work in my PACEs very fast.  My favorite thing in school is Word Building and Social Studies.  I like to sing a lot.  I decided to be a servant of God.  I hope God will gives me more patience to grow in his love.

Joshua Mecklembourg

My name is Joshua Mecklembourg. I am an American in Haiti and am 12 years old.  I am 4 feet and 11 inches tall.  I am smart, and I like school.  My favorite food is pasta.  I like cars.  I would like to be a scientist.

I am a young man 18 years old, 5'6", short hair.  I'm also a student from Canaan Christian School.  My favorite subject is Math, English, and Science.  I live in Canaan Christian Community.  i like to play soccer very much, and basketball.  I give all my body and my soul to serve the Lord.

Jobens Moleon

I'm Jobens, a black guy.  I have black hair, I'm living in Haiti, I'm a Haitian.  I'm about 5' tall and I weigh 120 pounds.  I'm not tall, I'm not short, I'm not skinny, I'm not fat.  I like to play soccer very much and I like to play basketball also.  I enjoy painting and I enjoy playing music.  I would like to be an engineer in mechanics and electronics.

Betty Villard

I'm a young girl named Betty.  I am 14 years old and am going to be 15 soon.  I am 5 feet tall and 120 pounds.  I am in fifth grade going on sixth.  My supervisor love me, they want me to work.  My parents are alive in Jesus name.  What I like in school is my PACEs. My favorite subject in school is SS, Science, and Word Building.  I like working in school very much.  I like to sing very much and my hope is to be a Christian forever.  I hope that God will give me more wisdom to grow in his grace.

Priscilla Mecklembourg

My name is Priscilla Tamar Mecklembourg and I'm sixteen years old.  I am a German, British, French, Indian, and African descendant and I'm an American citizen.  One third of my life I've lived in Canaan and the other two thirds of it I can't count how many places I've lived.  I love listening to music, dancing, watching tv, and hanging out with friends.  My favorite subject in school is Social Studies and when I'm older I want to be a gynecologist. I'm very shy when I just meet someone and I like to talk a lot.  Well, that's just an inch of who I am.
